Defect 1: High Production Cost Sensitivity and Difficulty in Cost Transfer

Compared to conventional packaging, vacuum packaging requires additional composite film materials, nitrogen flushing processes, and specialized sealing equipment, which significantly increases costs. When crude oil prices rise, the cost of plastic packaging materials fluctuates accordingly, compressing manufacturers' profit margins. Meanwhile, intense market competition makes it difficult to fully pass these costs on to consumers, dampening companies' enthusiasm for adopting vacuum packaging.

Solutions:

  1. Develop low-cost alternative materials: Research bio-based biodegradable materials (such as PLA/starch composites) to replace petroleum-based plastics, reducing unit costs through scale production.
  2. Optimize production processes: Implement "micro-vacuum + precision nitrogen flushing" technology to reduce nitrogen consumption while improving equipment efficiency to lower energy costs.

Defect 2: Inadequate Adaptation to Special Environments

In high-temperature and high-humidity regions (such as tropical coastal areas), temperature differences inside and outside vacuum packaging can easily cause internal condensation, while heat accelerates the aging of plastic materials. In extremely cold regions, low temperatures make plastics brittle and prone to cracking, compromising the sealing integrity of vacuum packaging. Existing standard packaging struggles to meet storage requirements under diverse climatic conditions.

Solutions:

  1. Develop climate-adaptive packaging: Design differentiated packaging for various climate zones-using enhanced moisture-proof composite materials for hot and humid regions, and low-temperature-resistant elastic materials for cold regions.
  2. Integrate environmental indicators: Add temperature and humidity indicator labels to packaging that display warning colors when environmental conditions exceed safe ranges, alerting warehouse staff to adjust storage conditions promptly.
